Mark Tennant’s photorealistic paintings are renowned for their uncanny ability to capture small details of light and movement. Most of Tennant’s works are lit with a bright flash, giving the sense that his young subjects are the unsuspecting subjects of late-night Polaroid snapshots. Born in Odense, Denmark and now based in the Bay Area, Kirstine Reiner Hansen received a BA in Design and Illustration at Kolding School of Design. Her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries, most recently in a solo exhibition at G-allery in Berlin, Germany. In 2012, she received the Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Foundation Grant and has twice been a semi-finalist for the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition.
